A: Go to
www.moisturefreeinspectons.com . Then navigate to the Inspector
Workshop page. There you will find a link to Register Your
Inspection. Click the link and complete the form. When you hit the
submit button a registration certificate will be generated with the
information you provided. Print this certificate and hand the
certificate to your Client.
Q: Am I required to sell the warranty?
A: No. You only inform the homeowner that the warranty is available after you inspected the home and approved the roof for the applicable level of coverage. Your client can then purchase the warranty online or by calling MoistureFree at 800-400-8679.
Q: Do I have to walk the roof?
A: No. Getting to the lowest eave with a good quality camera will allow you to collect all of the data required to qualify a roof for a MoistureFree warranty.
Q: How much do I charge for a roof inspection?
A: This is up to you. Offering the MoistureFree Roof Inspection is an added service/value to your overall home inspection
Q: How do I get credited for the warranty sale?
A: If your client purchases a warranty from MoistureFree, a fee will be paid to you within 30 days to allow MoistureFree to utilize the roof inspection information you gathered in the event of a claim or for quality control purposes.
Q: Are you going to contact my client?
A: Your client will be sent a confirmation of the inspection certification and information about the MoistureFree Roof Performance Warranty, but they will NOT be contacted by phone unless they call Moisture Free first.
Q: How does your warranty differ from a complete house warranty?

A: Buyers warranties (typically 1-year terms) provide virtually no protection for any failures related to the roof. The MoistureFree Roof Performance Warranty covers virtually all leaks caused by any failure of the shingles or flashing. MoistureFree does not cover failures caused by extreme weather or impact damage. These types of claims are typically covered by homeowners insurance.
